Q. Does my dog need to meet any requirements?
A. All Canine To Five dog clients have to be up-to-date with vaccinations and must have NO history of aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs.
Q. How does payment work? Q. How will I know how/what my dog is doing on his walks?
A. Canine To Five accepts cash or checks. Payment is due at the time of or prior to service. If paying by check, please make payable to Chrissy Wohltmann.
A. Canine to Five is happy to provide a quick “doggie diary” (we provide) to let you know what your pooch has been up to. You will be notified immediately if Canine To Five has any concerns about your dog’s behavior or health.
Q. How much notice do I need to give for a walk or cancellation?
A. Canine To Five would like as much notice as possible. A week in advance is adequate. As long as Canine To Five's schedule permits, we will squeeze your pup in with 24 hour notice - just call! As far as cancellations go, 24 hour notice as well. If proper notice is given, payment will roll over to the next service. If last minute cancellations occur payment is not refundable or rolled over.
Q. What if it’s raining? What if my dog gets dirty?
A. Your dog will be walked rain or snow (as long as the roads are passable in the snow). Canine To Five requires dog towels to be handy so that we can dry your pooch off if necessary.
Q. Do you keep client’s key/alarm codes confidential?
A. Absolutely! Keys are stored in a locked key box, with coded labels to ensure your security and anonymity. Please be reminded that Canine To Five is insured.
