  • Canine to Five is insured and bonded and the policy covers everyone whom works with or for us employees and subcontractors. We have worked with Business Insurers of the Carolinas to form a great policy for our needs.

  • The first step is simple—reach out with a call to 410.375.9202 or an email to chrissy@caninetofiveonline.com to see if we service your area. From there, we’ll set up a complimentary meeting to connect, listen, and learn about your needs, your schedule, and most importantly, your beloved dog.

    If you decide to move forward, we’ll take care of the details together—just a few signatures, a bit of paperwork, and three copies of your home key to ensure seamless, loving care. It’s all part of creating a relationship built on trust, ease, and heart—because when you open your door to Canine to Five, you’re not just hiring a service… you’re joining a family.

  • For the safety and harmony of our pack, every dog must be up to date on their vaccinations and have no history of aggression toward people or other dogs. Our complimentary meeting is where we take the time to truly connect—to get to know your pup’s personality, energy, and spirit. It’s not just a review; it’s the beginning of a relationship built on trust, love, and understanding—because every great partnership starts with being seen and known.

  • At Canine to Five, we like to keep things simple and seamless—so you can focus on what truly matters: your dog’s happiness. We accept credit card or ACH payments through our trusted software, Time to Pet. If it’s easier, we’re also happy to accept cash, check, or Venmo when needed.

    Payment is due at or before the time of service, ensuring everything flows with ease and care—just the way we like it.

  • At Canine to Five, we believe every moment with your pup is worth sharing. After each visit, you’ll receive a little “doggie diary” through the Time to Pet app—a quick glimpse into your dog’s day, their adventures, and the joy they bring.

    If we ever notice anything concerning about your dog’s behavior or health, you’ll hear from us right away with a personal call or text. Because caring for your dog isn’t just our job—it’s a relationship built on communication, compassion, and love.

  • Rain, sunshine, or snow—your dog will be walked with love and consistency, unless you request otherwise. We simply ask that a few towels be left by the door, so we can dry off your happy explorer after their outdoor adventures.

    At Canine to Five, safety always comes first—for both your pup and our walkers. During thunderstorms, lightning, extreme heat, or icy conditions, we’ll pause walks and adjust as needed. Because caring deeply means knowing when to protect, nurture, and honor nature’s rhythm too.

  • Absolutely. Your trust means everything to us. All keys are kept in secure, locked boxes and labeled with coded identifiers to ensure complete privacy and peace of mind. At Canine to Five, we treat your home—and your trust—with the same care and respect we give to your beloved dogs.
